Ensuring Advocacy for Water Safety for all

Water Safety Management Teams (WSMTs) in our beneficiary communities have been empowered to efficiently run our newly built mechanised water facilities.
We held different levels of engagements within the communities with a focus on improving WASH outcomes.

New Hand Washing Facilities to improve WASH

In cognizance of the dire need to establish and improve healthy WASH habits especially among children, we distributed 18 hand washing stations to targeted schools in the Jasikan and Biakoye Districts.

Improved Access to Senior High School Education for Girls

Ghana’s Free Senior High School Education Policy for students admitted into the various public Senior High Schools (SHS) exempts them from paying fees. The implementation of the policy saw increased admissions of students including girls’ enrollment which more than doubled.

Around the World, 129 million girls including 67 million of Senior High School are out of school. The Policy could therefore open access for more girls to obtain Senior High School Education.
